Flat Water surf clinic

Flat Water Surf Clinics run throughout the summer. This course is designed for people who have never surfed before. In this course, you will have the opportunity to learn the basics and fundimentals of surfing. The course will take place at the beach on a day with no waves and no wind. This will provide a controlled environment to practice and get comfortable with the skills. The duration of the lesson will be approximately 1 hour. The lesson will begin on the beach where you will learn the motions of popping up on your surfboard. We will also go over safety tips and prepare you for a safe surfing experience. After practicing skills on the beach, we will take our surfboards into the lake where you will learn to paddle and maneuver/control your surfboard in the water. Your instructor will be with you at all times assisting you and answering any questions you may have.
